Fast, No-Downtime Install
We plan installations around your production schedule, often completing installs over a single weekend to minimize disruption.
Seamless Integration with Existing Equipment
Whether you’re working with a legacy thermoforming machine or a mix of upstream/downstream automation, our systems integrate cleanly with your line — no costly reconfiguration required.
Hands-On Training and Onboarding
We stay on the floor to train your team, ensure performance, and make real-time adjustments. Your operators and maintenance crew will be ready to run confidently from the first shift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this taper compatible with other Fremont packaging systems?
What types of bags does the Saddlepack Taper work with?
The Taper is designed for poly saddle pack bags — the preferred format in poultry packaging. It handles various pouch configurations (e.g., 2×2 or 3×2) and brings consistent fold-and-tape functionality to support efficient downstream boxing.
Can the Taper be customized for specific bag sizes?
Absolutely. Fremont engineers tailor each Taper to your plant’s needs. It works with packages up to 20 inches wide by 24 inches long and can apply multiple pieces of tape or glue, as needed, to securely close the saddlepack, keeping the folded pouches in place for easier case packing.
Can the Saddlepack Taper compress packages before taping?
Yes. An optional compression feature applies uniform pressure to the package before taping. This produces a neater, more compact bundle that improves presentation and makes boxing more efficient, especially at high volumes.
Is it difficult to maintain the Saddlepack Taper?
Not at all. The Taper is built for tough shifts and quick turnaround:
- Full washdown NEMA 4X enclosures ensure sanitary performance
- Quick-connect M10s and IO links allow fast component swaps
- Streamlined Linmot Servo Motors reduce part counts and service needs
Together, these features deliver minimal downtime and lower maintenance costs — keeping your packaging line moving.
Does Fremont offer installation and training?
Yes. We handle install, onboarding, and ongoing support, so your team gets up to speed quickly and stays productive.
